You won't be able to anyway if the A2000 has SCSI and the A4000 IDE.

Simplest to set up would be Term running on both machines, and connected
through nullmodem cable. But that would be very unpleasant to use.
Best would be Pronet through parnet cable. Ths will simply mount your
A2000 drive(s) on A4000 or A4000 on A2000, or both at once. It allows all
WB and Amigados operations on the remote machine as if it were a local
drive, and also allows you to use just one KB and mouse for both machines.
Avoid Parnet. Compared to Pronet it has very limited usefulness and is
buggy and unstable and slow. Also, it cannot do normal Amigados or WB operations
across the network, and only mounts drives via a peculiar NET: device.
Pronet did require payment to get the keyfile, but is now freeware with
the latest version on Aminet. It is seriously simple to set up compared to
Parnet.
One other possibility that I have not seen is a fake ethernet via parallel
ports called MagPLIP.
