However, most drive manufacturers specify that their drives should only
be used in a horizontal or vertical position (+/-5%) and not any angle
in between. In practice, modern drives are extremely robust and will
continue working under most conditions. Even moving the computer while
the drive is spinning is generally harmless these day, although not
something I'd recommend if you really value your data.
