Heh, looks like I'm not the only one with problems then!!  They should
have tested the CD a bit more thoroughly.

There is an 0845 number in the CD case which you can phone if you have
problems signing up.  WHen I did, the bloke was quite helpful but didn't
manage to get it sorted and he said he'd phone back and never did.  I then
phoned them back and explained my manual efforts to connect to the
registration server and gave them exact detailed PPP logs (from Linux) of
what was not happening.  I suggested they got someone high up to phone me
back and they said they would but that didn't happen either.
