I use ramboost originally marketed as part of pc-tools in an earlier version than 9.0 and then unbundled from pc-tools. I.B.M. bought the rights to package ramboost with its versions of dos and centralpoint software was bought out by symantek. Symantek went and burried both pc-tools centralpoint backup ibm antivirus and pc-tools so that if you try opening up centralpointsoftware's web site you'll just be dumped on symantek's front page and be no closer to any support or all that symantek burried. Are there any other ramboost users with pc-dos 7 users on this list that are having more success with nettamer than this? If so, there's probably at least two list members who could use some configuration ideas. Don't have any special configuration file for nettamer written to be used by jaws for dos. Wasn't necessary. This thread brings up another couple questions. First, is it possible to use that mail killer program to filter out html messages before they cause these problems? Would have to be a search done on message bodies to get this done and a very simple one at that. I figure search or (</) in the message body and if found wipe the message before reading. This next situation is a web situation. Would any of you who have the time go on over to http://freespeech.heyanita.com/ and once there go to the voice portal link and click on that link? Yes, I know the page is designed wrong for nettamer. My question is since nettamer does not support tables could a future version at least hide the garbage? Probably by stopping to show stuff on the screen once a <TD> tag is detected and counting the <TD> tags in the following lines. If there are three <TD> tags without an intervening </TD> tag then there's going to be 3 </TD> tags on a properly formatted page. perhaps nettamer could not display any text in that situation until after that third </TD> tag. --- Jude <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Net-Tamer V 1.12.0 - Registered ******************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the single word Unsubscribe as the subject.
