This web page has to do with VoiceXML, Voice EXtensible Markup Language.
It involves the use of voice tags that Net-tamer does not yet support.
This web page is primarily for developers who are designing voice
support for web pages that are to be WC3 compliant. This site has some
special web pages which will allow you to conduct experiments using the
voice tags. In order to access the special pages you have to sign up and
log in. There is a note on the main page saying that the web site is
designed especially for MSIE 5.0 or greater.
BTW, using Arachne I downloaded a very informative PDF file named
VOICEXML.PDF, 470034 bytes from the main web site. The file was
automatically downloaded to my machine when I just clicked on the
link "Benefits of VoiceXML". Maybe you can download this file with
Nettamer.
BTW, does anyone know of a good PDF to text converter for DOS?
I was able to view the PDF file within Arachne by using a special
Arachne add-on, but I was unable to save it as text. It would be
very nice to have an outright PDF2TXT converter for DOS.
