If it were possible I think nearly all of us would have heard about it
by now. Almost everybody hates to find HTML messages in their mail,
but not always. Usually the HTML messages are just duplicates of the
text. Quite often they are just spam ads. Sometimes a legitimate
correspondent will send a duplicate HTML message without realizing that
his mailer is doing it. On very rare occasions a correspondent might
even have a legitimate reason to send an email message having HTML.
If we were running a program designed to wipe every message having a
"</" in the message body then many of your own posts would have been
wiped and also my replies. A computer program isn't smart enough
to distinguish the legit from the sh_t.
