hi,
may i offer my assistance again? i have been a mindspring dialup user for
over 5 years now, and have talked to tech support many times. i have only
used nt with mindspring dialup, not their software, and will gladly get the
data you need, without your having to feel silly when they pretend not to
understand what you are really seeking. one thing they will certainly ask,
if ou have wind 95 and tell them so, is why you are not using the mindspring
software for the connection, tell you to get a copy and be done with it. it
seems odd that they would pick on louville and not the rest of the country.
another suggestion may be to try the version 108 of nettamer.
there is something about its construction that does not require you to use
some aspects of the dial up process required by some other editions of the
program.
mindspring still supports windows 3.1 as late as last week, so i am still
wondering if it is the isp.
still, i can and will ask for you if you wish.
