A guess would be there's a character in the .dlu file that's outside of
extended ascii. That is over 127 in value. Perhaps an ascii filter pogram
could be used to strip that character out of that file. To find out for
sure a file search program that can tell you if you have characters outside
the ascii character set before you try to strip would also be useful. What
programs can help out with that right now I'm not sure but the simtel
mirrors are likely to be able to help out.
