freedom may not come as a package, it has to be obtained from different individual subsets

Of course. the free software movement is an inspiring one. many of our beliefs in equity and social justice are so strongly a part of the Free Software movement and it will continue to inspire us

My point was that while we fully respect the free software movement and its members, we need to extend the support and adoption of FOSS across to other groups working for development, so that it is 'mainstreamed'. We need to make conscious efforts to move beyond the 'converted' to the 'sceptics' and the 'disbelievers' apart from the 'undecided' to make FOSS a default social option
