such a fine document. It can be a good template that can be offered by
local organizations in other states as well, wherever possible. It can
even be shared to let education departments across the country know that
they can opt for FOSS instead of proprietary software which many think
is the only option they can chose.
I think a copy of this proposal can also be shared with the National
Knowledge Commission (copying Jayati Ghosh, a member of the NKC) for
them to also take note
One small suggestion, our proposal talks about the master trainers being
school teachers, however, they will need to train the DIET faculty as
well, so that the 'cascade' model of training within the education
department (DIET-BRC-CRC-School) can handle the training of all teacher
educators and teachers on the lines of the Kerala model. This is
required for program sustainability and scalability.
