Generally this seems to be the case. This is last weeks coverage in print media in Bangalore: http://www.deccanherald.com/content/74339/free-software-edge-forge-ahead.html The Hindu and other print media has been covering most of the major free software events in Bangalore/Karnataka. Google search can bring up all of them. One has to define what "fairly active" has been meaning and then re-define it like some of us are trying to do and then maybe some people in the media will see sense and then we can see changes in the "corporate media" reporting too.. But is it just the media that is "under corporate control".. > > > >> What impact has the fairly active FOSS community had ? >> Has FOSS even been used for the occasional diversion from the usual >> gimmickry, brain washing, disinformation, masala and the mantra that >> if more tax-free loans and tax concessions are given to rich, richer >> and richest corporates, then a spectacular 90% of the population >> would be freed from indigestion problems? >> What about FOSS related disinformation? >> >> >> Best >> >> A.
