Not at all. This is related to the cost of reproduction - marginal cost.

I stated earlier, I might be totally wrong in assuming that  IIT is already 
profiting. I might also be wrong in presuming that NC is to allow them to 
profit in future.

I must also add that inspite of my rants in this thread,  I am more than happy 
to see the IIT's opening out and enabling everyone else to benefit from their 
expertise and appreciate all the effort.
