Yes - the proposed list is specifically focusing on India and would be
available sorted on geography. Also a focus is implementation/deployment
(hence large focus on training and support).
I explained the requirement in my first post - lots of
people/institutions who want to use available free software (on as-is
basis) want training/support. Thousands of organisations which currently
just use Windows and MS Office could easily migrate to a GNU/Linux OS +
LibreOffice. But they want / would need some initial orientation and
hand holding. While this is perhaps basic, it would bring in much larger
number of people/instittuions into the FOSS fold.
And a list of people willing to help organisations/individuals use free
tools would be useful for them to refer to or any of us to direct them to.
