Hmmm, I'm prone to think that M$ got paid....either way. Doesn't really matter if the hardware got sold. Objectively seen it's the companies like Dell (and IBM and so and so on) who pay that tax. They're too scared to lose their market position. If they had half the chance they'd let the consumer pay but the market's too sharp for that. If I was in the USA I'd certainly give it a try....over here in Europe it's not worth it. Like somebody stated: the M$_included_hardware is very often cheaper.............. so, if M$ wants to subsidize me (indirectly) for putting Linux on a box: Who am I to complain! ;) -- Good luck, HarM
