Drew, nothing to worry about.   Just plug everything up and start surfing the net.

You should connect to your device by browsing to http:192.168.1.1, username, password and that's it.  Make sure it is set to DHCP unless you plan to use static address and enable or not the wireless secutiry settings according to your wishes.  You should have no problem with your PC and laptop.

Don't really know how to Xbox, so good luck.
