in Linux, the .xxx name does not hold quite the same 'power' as on a
winbox. M$ products look to that last three letters to decide what type
of file it is, so you may well find if what you want to know is 'how do
I use a firmware file with a *.bin name', that will be a different reply.
open a text console, cd to that directory and depending on a few other
variables type the name of the program, if that does not work then try
./nameofprogram. if it does not work, look for a readme.
which bin file are you talking about (a driver installer?)
