Perhaps you changed the links in /dev? Here, mine look like this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] dev]# ls -al cdrom
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Oct 8 11:42 cdrom -> scd0
[EMAIL PROTECTED] dev]# ls -al cdrom2
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Feb 9 15:50 cdrom2 -> scd1
[EMAIL PROTECTED] dev]
I'm using SCSI so its probably different than yours. Use "dmesg > dmesg.txt"
and read through it to find what your devices are if you don't already know.
As root, change into /dev and "ls -al cdrom" or whatever you're using to see
whats what.
If I don't have these links in place, KsCD won't find my drives.
I had to do a "ln -s scd1 cdrom2" because it wasn't there.
