HI, in my local network there are three PCs: mine Mandriva 2006, a Windows 2K and a Windows XP. Every Windows machine has a HP Laser Jet 6L printer connected and shared. The "Guest" username is disable on both windows machine. I an trying to install the two printers through printdrake like so:
Add Printer-->Auto-detect printers connected to machines running Microsoft Windows But only the printer on Windows XP is auto detected. If I use "expert mode" and input ip of Win 2K machine, username and password mannuly, nothing helps. Any suggestions on how CUPS can auto-detect the printer on windows 2K? I appreciate every reply.
