I also have a mixed net, and have never been able to get W2k to work well, or sometimes at all, as a print server. Tried to get some M$ W2k gurus to help, but they couldn't make it work either. I installed network print servers on a couple of printers, and this has been the best solution yet. The Mand* box also works well as a server for one printer.
