No9 have been known to cause trouble in linux, but as far as I remember
there have been HOWTOs bout that, at least on older distros like
SuSE6.2. Did you check out the X-HOWTOs? I had to read them *all* :) to
find out how to get a Cirrus Logic working, and I did in the end.
