Thanks for trying. Did you have a chance to look at my log I just posted? 
This might be helpful; I just figured out how to export it to my desktop and 
email it to you.

CVS is Current Versioning Software correct? I don't know how this software 
is related to the XFree86 site. I have been to their site and they now have 
a new 4.0.2 but I am not clear either what to download nor how to install 
it. Any suggestions.
