CVS is just the development version of the code, instead of the actual
released version.  It's more bleeding edge, supports more cards, but is
very likely to have bugs because of the newness of the code.

If the link isn't opening correctly you can use wget to download the file.
If you are in windows and trying to save the file alot of times it will be
downloaded as a text file into the browser, what you want to do is to
right click on the link and select "save as" and then save it locally.
