Hi,
I'm not a RedHat person, but the way it's set up on Enigma(7.2) is that 
.Xclients sources .Xclients-default:

[oisin]$ more ~/.Xclients-default
# Created by Red Hat Desktop Switcher
exec gnome-session

So replacing gnome-session with kde-session will probably do the trick.
