THE MAIN BOARD OF DPS ANNOUNCED ITS NEXT CONGRESS:
THE CHANGE OF THE PARTY PROGRAM
PODGORICA - Ruling Montenegrin Democratic Party of Socialist (DPS) will
change program and statute at its next congress, scheduled for October
6th - DPS's Main Board concluded yesterday.
The key change in the party's program will be plainspoken attitude
favoring renewal of the Montenegrin statehood instead of actual program
that favor "con-federal rearrangement of FRY".
Vice President of DPS Svetozar Marovic will head the working group,
which will prepare documents for party's congress.
SESSION OF THE MONTENEGRIN ASSEMBLY:
MUP WILL FIGHT AGAINST CRIME INDEPENDENTLY
PODGORICA - The Montenegrin Assembly started discussion about a proposal
of the coalition "Together for Yugoslavia" about forming a commission to
investigate the articles in the Croatian weekly "National" about alleged
cigarettes smuggling in Montenegro.
Montenegrin Minister of the Internal Affairs ( MUP ) Andrija Jovicevic
said that the MUP would cooperate fully with the commission and fight
independently against the corruption and every crime in Montenegro
notwithstanding " wishes of any party".
An EU commission charged of fight against organized crime visited
Montenegro twice and concluded both times that there was no
irregularities during the cigarette transport. - Andrija Jovicevic
reminded.
MONTENGRIN REACTIONS ON THE NOMINATION OF THE FEDERAL PREMIER:
EVERYONE DISAPPOINTED
PODGORICA - Montenegrin parties expressed certain disappointment with
the nomination of high official of the Socialist People's Party (SNP)
Dragisa Pesic for the new Yugoslav premier-designate.
Pesic, who has no prominent function in the Party, was the Federal
Minister of the Finance twice.
The fact that none of the SNP leaders accepted to be the new Federal
Premier Designate means that neither the SNP pays to much attention on
the federal institutions nor they care much for the preservation of the
FRY- spokesman of the ruling DPS Igor Luksic assessed.
It has no significance for us who is the new federal Premier Designate,
since we will behave as before, we will not recognize the Federal
Government illegally formed without participation of the Montenegrin
majority - he added.
New Premier Designate Dragisa Pesic will have shorter mandate than his
predecessor Zoran Zizic and he will be remembered as the last Premier
Designate of the Yugoslavia, the country that vanished long time ago -
President of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Ranko Krivokapic said.
We can not interfere in an autonomous decision of the Socialist People's
Party (SNP) - spokesman of the People's Party (NS) Bojan Vuksanovic said
adding that NS preferred some stronger SNP person for that post.The NS
Presidency will decide soon whether to participate in the Federal
Government or not.

EXPLANATION WHY MONTENEGRIN PRESIDENT DID NOT FILE A LAWSUIT AGAINST
"NATIONAL"
PODGORICA - MP of the People's Party (NS) Predrag Popovic raised
yesterday in the Montenegrin Parliament question why Montenegrin
President Milo Djukanovic has not filed a lawsuit against the Croatian
weekly "National", which had accused him of involvement in the cigarette
smuggling.
It is under consideration whether a private lawsuit against the
"National" will be filed or the case will be considered as " smearing
campaign against the chief of the foreign state" - Igor Luksic, the DPS
spokesman said.
If we have here the second variant, then an engagement of the Croatian
state attorney will be necessary - Luksic concluded.

NS SUSPICIOUS ABOUT SNP'S REAL INTENTIONS
PODGORICA - Leader of Socialist People Party (SNP) Predrag Bulatovic has
been recently giving some statements which sound as a support to
Montenegrin ruling party idea that Yugoslavia should be transformed in
an alliance of two sovereign states, Montenegro and Serbia - the high
official of People's Party (PP) Predrag Drecun assessed.
PP with SNP and Serbian People Party (SNS) make the Montenegrin
coalition " For Yugoslavia", which insists on preservation of the common
state of Montenegro and Serbia in FR Yugoslavia.
PP has announced for today its definite decision about participation in
the new Yugoslav Government, while SNP and SNS confirmed their
participation.
PP has unofficially announced its interest for the position of the
Federal Justice Minister, which was covered in the previous federal
government by the representative of the Democratic opposition of Serbia
(DOS) Momcilo Grubac.

IZMJENE PROGRAMA O OBNOVI CRNOGORSKE DRZAVNOSTI
PODGORICA - Demokratska partija socijalista (DPS) na svom kongresu 6.
oktobra promijenice program i statut - zakljuceno je juce na sjednici
Glavnog odbora ove partije.
Najvaznija izmjena u programu partije koja se najavljuje jeste
nedvosmisleno opredeljenje DPS-a o obnovi drzavnosti Crne Gore.
Najavljeno je da ce radnom grupom za pripremu programskih dokumenata za
partijski kongres predsjedavati potpredsjednik DPS Svetozar Marovic.
ZASIJEDANJE SKUPSTINE CRNE GORE:
MUP CE SAMOSTALNO UCI U BORBU PROTIV KRIMINALA
PODGORICA - U skupstini republike Crne Gore juce je pocela rasprava
povodom predloga predsjednika Mila Djukanovica, a zatim i poslanika
koalicije "Zajedno za Jugoslaviju", da se formira komisija za
ispitivanje istinitosti tekstova o duvanskoj aferi, objavljenih u
hrvatskom casopisu "Nacional".
Ministar unutrasnjih poslova Crne Gore Andrija Jovicevic rekao je da ce
MUP biti u potpunosti na raspolaganju skupstinskoj komisiji i istakao da
ce MUP samostalno uci u borbu protiv korupcije i svih vidova kriminala u
Crnoj Gori, bez obzira na "partijske zelje".
Jovicevic je podsjetio da je u Crnoj Gori u dva navrata boravila
medjunarodna komisija za borbu protiv organizovanog kriminala i da je
tom prilikom dosla do zakljucka da nije bilo nepravilnosti tokom
transporta cigareta.
CRNOGORSKE REAKCIJE NA IMENOVANJE NOVOG PREMIJERA SRJ:
NIKO NIJE ODUSEVLJEN
PODGORICA - Crnogorske politicke partije nijesu pokazale pretjerano
odusevljenje imenovanjem visokog funkcionera Socijalisticke narodne
partije (SNP) Dragise Pesica za mandatatra nove savezne vlade. Pesic,
koji nema isaknutu partijsku funkciju, je dva puta bio ministar
finansije u federalnoj vladi.
Cinjenica da niko od lidera SNP-a nije prihvatio da bude mandatar za
sastav nove vlade govori da ni SNP ne polaze mnogo na ozbiljnost
saveznih institucija niti vide cjelishodnost odrzanja SR Jugoslavije -
ocjenio je portparol vladajuce crnogorske partije (DPS) Igor Luksic.
Za nas je svejedno ko je mandatar nove savezne vlade, jer cemo je
tretirati na isti nacin kao do sada, necemo je priznavati, jer je
nelegitimno formirana bez ucesca vecinske Crne Gore- dodao je on.
Mandatar za sastav nove vlade Dragisa Pesic ce imati cak i kraci mandat
od svog prethodnika Zorana Zizica, a pamtice se jer ce biti poslednji
premijer odavno preminule Jugoslavije - komentarsao je potpredsjednik
Socijaldemokratske partije(SDP) Ranko Krivokapic.
To je autonomna odluka Socijalisticke narodne partije (SNP) - izjavio je
portparol Narodne stranke(NS) Bojan Vuksanovic. Predsjednistvo NS ce
narednih dana odluciti o eventualnoj participaciji u saveznoj vladi-
dodao je on.

OBJASNJENJE ZASTO DJUKANOVIC NIJE JOS TUZIO "NACIONAL"
PODGORICA - Poslanik Narodne stranke u skupstini Crne Gore Predrag
Popovic zatrazio je juce na redovnoj sjednici parlamenta odgovor na
pitanje zasto predsjednik Milo Djukanovic jos nije tuzio hrvatski
casopis "Nacional", koji je objavio tekstove o njegovoj navodnoj
umijesanosti u sverc cigareta.
Portparol Demokratske partije socijalista (DPS) Igor Luksic objasnio je
da se sada razmatra da li ce predsjednik Djukanovic podnijeti privatnu
tuzbu ili ce se pisanje ovog nedjeljnika podvesti pod krivicno djelo
"napad na sefa strane drzave", sto bi u tom slucaju rezultiralo
angazovanjem drzavnog tuzioca Hrvatske.

NS SUMNJICAVA PREMA NAMJERAMA SNP-A
PODGORICA - Lider Socijalisticke narodne partije ( SNP) Predrag
Bulatovic daje izjave koje idu na ruku onima koji se zalazu za savez
suverenih drzava Srbije i Crne Gore - rekao je visoki funkcioner
Narodne stranke ( NS) Predrag Drecun.
NS je jedan od tri partnere u crnogorskoj koaliciji " Za Jugoslaviju"
uz SNP i Srpsku narodnu stranku ( SNS), koje se zalazu opstanak
zajednicke drzave Crne Gore i Srbije.
NS je nagovjestila da ce danas odlucivati o svom mogucem ucescu u novoj
jugoslovenskoj vladi, u kojoj ce se sigurno naci predstavnici SNP i SNS.
NS je ranije nezvanicno nagovjestavala da je zainteresovana za polozaj
saveznog ministra pravde, na kojem je do sada bio predstavnik
Demokratske opozicije Srbije ( DOS) Momcilo Grubac.
