IVAN RAICEVIC, MINISTER OF TRADE:
NECESSARY MEASURES TO PROTECT DOMESTIC PRODUCTION
PODGORICA- Montenegrin Minister of Trade Ivan Raicevic said that
government's main task was decreasing participation of the gray economy
in country's economic activities and that program to achieve that in the
nearest future was to be adopted.
There will be a more rigid control of the imported goods to apply
regulations relating with protection of domestic production, especially
to stop excessive import of the competitive products- Raicevic said.
However, he assured that measures would not lead toward closing domestic
market and creating conditions for appearance of new monopolies.
SNP LEADER PREDRAG BULATOVIC:
DENYING THAT THE SNP WANTS CONFEDERATION
PODGORICA - A Working group of the ruling Serbian Democratic Opposition
( DOS ) and Montenegrin coalition "For Yugoslavia" will finish the
Platform for redefinition of relations between Montenegro and Serbia by
the end of August - coalition leader Predrag Bulatovic said.
Bulatovic announced that Executive Board of his "Socialist Peoples
Party" ( SNP ) would consider the latest political misunderstandings
within members of DOS, to asses how much this could influence their
partnership of the federal level, and the working group.
Bulatovic, who is president of SNP, said that the Platform insisted on
Yugoslavia with single international recognition, adding that his
critics were not right when accusing SNP of wanting to transform
Yugoslavia into the confederation of two states.

PODGORICA - Crnogorski ministar trgovine Ivan Raicevic izjavio je da je
jedan od vladinih glavnih ciljeva smanjenje ucesca sive ekonomije u
ukupnoj ekonomiji zemlje i predvidio veoma brzo usvajanje programa za
njeno suzbijanje.
On je najavio poostrenu kontrolu robe koja se uvozi, kao i sprovodjenje
vazecih propisa koji se odnose na obavezu zastite domace proizvodnje od
prekomjernog uvoza konkurentskih proizvoda.
Raicevic je rekao da vlada nece mjerama zastite zatvarati domace
trziste, a jos manje stvarati uslove za nove monopole.

NEOZBILJNE PRIMJEDBE DA JE SNP ZA KONFEDERACIJU
PODGORICA - Predsjednik Socijalisticke narodne partije (SNP) Predrag
Bulatovic ocekuje da ce radna grupa vladajuceg srbijanskog DOS-a i
crnogorske opozicione koalicije ''Za Jugoslaviju'' do kraja avgusta
zavrsiti rad na platformi o preuredjenju odnosa Crne Gore i Srbije.
Prije nego sto radna grupa nastavi svoj posao, Bulatovic je najavio
sastanak Izvrsnog odbora svoje stranke na kojem ce razmotriti najnovija
politicka previranja kod svog koalicionog partnera na saveznom nivou
Predsjednik SNP-a je rekao da je platformom predvidjeno federalno
ustrojstvo drzave sa jednim medjunarodno-pravnim subjektivitetom i
ocijenio kao neozbiljne primjedbe da se SNP zalaze za konfederaciju.
