DPS SPOKESMAN IGOR LUKSIC:
USA DOES NOT EXCLUDE MONTENEGRIN INDEPENDENCE:

PODGORICA- Spokesman of the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS)
Igor Luksic advised all the Serbian parties to accept the will of the
majority in Montenegro in the forthcoming negotiations about the future
FRY status and its federal units.

USA Ambassador in Belgrade William Montgomery during talks with Federal
Premier Dragisa Perisic has not excluded possible renewal of the
Montenegrin Independence - Luksic said.

Luksic has not denied the fact that Montgomery really stated that
"Washington wants a democratic Montenegro in the democratic and reformed
Yugoslavia".

However this is not excluding possibility of the US support to
independent Montenegro if this is wish of Montenegrin majority - Luksic
clarified.

"The International Community emphasizes that at the end of the day only
the citizens of Montenegro have to decide about the future status of
their state"- Luksic concluded.

PORTPAROL DPS-a IGOR LUKSIC:
SAD NE ISKLJUCUJU MOGUCNOST NEZAVISNE CRNE GORE

PODGORICA - Portparol Demokratske partije socijalista (DPS) Igor Luksic
Crne Gore u predstojecim pregovorima oko buduceg statusa SRJ i njenih
federalnih jedinica.

mogucnost stvaranja nezavisne Crne Gore.

Vasington ''zeli demokratsku Crnu Goru u demokratskoj i reformisanoj
