Here's a link for you.  Once on the page, click on the "maintenance" section
and then you'll see a "tach repair" section.  The only thing that I can add
is that on another site I saw a more "elegant" way of opening up the tach
rather than prying off the bezel.  The guy took a dremel tool with a cut off
wheel and cut all the way around the tach about 1/2 inch under the bezel and
when finished epoxied the two section back together.

Thanks, guys. I wish there was a cable to lube.  From 91 on, NHs have
purely electric tachs. There's a wiring harness, but no cable.

So, still looking for a fix.
