Thanks, Evan. This tach was actually fixed once and the problem was
the bad soldered joint, but since the thing actually works if you
shake it right, I think it's more likely a loosened connection inside.
It's still going to require busting open that darned sealed case,
though. I guess I was hoping someone could point to something exterior
to check or easier to fix.
