There is plenty you can do to make your truck faster but none of it is worth the $$ .The Silverado weighs more and has shorter gears.. It is slower but can haul more. Get a Toyota! My Pre-Runner is a rocket and gets around 22mpg out of a 250hp 4.0L V6 :-)
