Quick update #2 - spark plugs are all completely oil fouled. Evidence is leaning towards busted floats more and more, but then again this could have happened when the airbox filled with fuel causing all cylinders to run rich regardless of what happened?
And how could the floats be failing if there's no gas inside them (they are plastic and undamaged/unworn) and the needles are all in good shape?
