ive heard good things about the magnas, but if you realy want comfort and power for a highway ride get a goldwing.. you can find older goldwings for pretty cheep (especially if you are mechanically inclined), that way you can keep your nighthawk for the around town fun riding... i got my 86 GL1200 for $500, needed a battery and carb cleaning (no new parts) and a fuel pump (so easy.. its 1 bolt and 2 hoses, all exposed... easyer then installing a new battery)
so thans my vote, but if you realy want the magna go for it, if it makes you happy... thats what riding is all about On Fri, Jul 23, 2010 at 4:44 PM, Stumpi <[email protected]> wrote: > I love my 450, it is a fantastic commuter and learner bike and has > more than enough power for riding around town or country roads but I'm > finding more and more that the torque just isn't there for long > periods of slab riding.
