Don't know if this will be of value to you, or if you can wait long enuf. There's a guy who restores 70s vintage naked Goldwings and also supplies parts for inline 4s. One of his vendor buddies has come up with a mod that adapts late model spin-on filters in place of the 80s model cannisters. It's a quality piece of tooled aluminum for about $60. http://www.randakks.com/ The website is closed to orders at the moment, since the owner's on vacation. But he says he'll back and open for business on the 18th. As far as battery chargers, I have the Battery Tender Plus, which is a "smart" charger that "reads" exactly how much and what quality charge to apply to a battery.
