Okay, so... I know I'm about to open a huge can of worms and dump them all over the place, but what brands do you guys crank open the wallets for when it comes time to buy replacements for consumable parts?
Stuff like air filters, oil filters, spark plugs... I'm not going to touch oil, as that's a huge, passionate debate. On my VWs, I've always gone with a good Bosch, Mahle or Mann oil filter, a Hengst or Mann air filter, and never ANYTHING but Bosch spark plugs. No NGKs, definitely no frigging Champions... but the Nighthawk isn't a German Car, so I'm not expecting German parts to be the best ones for it! I bought NGK stock plugs for the bike, but I may also swap the air filter while I'm digging in there... used a stock Honda oil filter when I did the change. Ordering a petcock rebuild kit tonight, and looking into a brake master cylinder rebuild kit as I've noticed I'm getting some creep in the lever when I hold it firmly. Anywho, just another shot in the discussive arm of the list, lest we have silence again! -Kurt -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
