In my experience most Japanese engines (cars included) for some reason
don't run well on anything but NGK plugs.  That's been true of any
Honda I've ever driven\rode.  Oil filters, I prefer Purolator for
cars, and for the Nighthawk I just get what's available since there
isn't much choice in those canisters filters.  I've got two more K&N
oil filters up on the shelf and I doubt I'll get through em before the
bike is sold.  Same thing with air filters, I just get what's
available and change them when they start showing visible dirt.  Not
too picky.
