I have a 1992 750NH I can pull the carbs re-jet them and put it back together in approx 1.5 hours. You remove the tank, remove the airbox bolts, loosen the band clamps on the carbs, slide the airbox rear ward then pull the carbs from the intake boots. Then slide the carbs out the left side and undo the throttle and choke cables. Installation is reverse order. 4 screws hold the slide assembly in and 4 screws hold the float bowl on. Hint get a ziplok bag for each carbs parts. Be careful both removing and installing the carb screws they strip easily. Don't get carb cleaner on the rubber parts if you can help it. Do a bench sync after re assembly. Put a little oil on the intake and airbox boots before re assembly, and a ratchet strap is helpful to push the carbs and airbox back in place. Use a hair drier to soften the rubber if really stiff. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

I'm about to dive into this -- twice -- I have two sets of 750 carbs I need to do. Never done such before and need all the tips, tricks and homegrown advice I can gather. Getting them out of the frame looks like a PIA knucklebuster to me. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
