i was also told to use both breaks, but the instructor also told us to vary the amount on each set based on bike and conditions... that being said my GL has a linked break system where the rear dick is linked with the front right disk... i don tlike it, front breaks should be front breaks and rear breaks should be reat breaks.. ive found that ive become more lazy after finding that... i could change it, but i am getting more lazy about it...
