Allen, Ed and All,
My apologies - I left out one additional point - the 450 was not
comfortable on the Interstate - it did not have the power without being run
almost wide open to maintain 70 MPH. I would make the statement that for
today's traveling, particularly if you have the occasion to go on the
Interstate (and who doesn't?) I would recommend a bike with more than 33 HP.
The displacement has less to do with that than the HP rating.
