I was helping a friend look for his first bike and had the opportunity
to ride a bunch of different smaller bikes including a couple of
different 250', 650's and even a Honda 400. He's about 6 feet and
175lbs. In the end he ended up getting a V-Star 650 and frankly he
hates it because it's just not comfortable to ride in that position
for miles on end. In my opinion is you'll be un-happy with anything
smaller than a 650 within 6 months.
