Rear brakes are NOT YOUR FRIEND in curves. That's how I dumped mine the
first time. I had that split second "oh s**t" moment of clarity when I
leaned on the rear brake, and felt the back tire lock, slide, and then the
world snapped back to normal speed and I hit the pavement.

Thank whatever divinity you believe in I was doing sub-25 at the time or I
would have done more than screw up a brake pedal and bruise my ego. :p
