Actually what I said in a previous post still applies: only take the calve cover off and bring the cam lobe down with both valves closed and check clearances. If there is clearance and a squirt of oil doesn't affect the reading with another comp ck, it's a valve. If there isn't clearance adjust and try again. I've been working on engines since I was 14. I am now 66. I have never been wrong in my diagnosis and I have never used a leakdown test to determine engine problems. The oil shot works. And a visible inspection is better than trying to determine if a valve is not closing. It's likely you will have to remove the valve cover anyway.
