I had that problem a while back and was wondering if there is a bypass for
the kick stand. Can it be simply unplugged, or would you have to connect
the wires to complete the circuit.
Ron

For now I have a NH and an ST.

Subject: Re: [Nighthawk Lovers] Bike smells like burning fuel while running

Are you talking about a CB750 - what year?
Are the carbs wet at all, do you see any fuel leaking from the carbs. If so
(wet carbs or leaking), tap the carbs with a small hammer, use a screw
driver or something if you can't get to the inner two - just tap, tap, tap,
in case the floats are sticking. If that doesn't work, drain the bowls from
the drain plug at the bottom of the bowls and then turn pet cock to prime,
if it has PRI. That refills them or, start the engine so the carbs refill.
All this if the float (s) are stuck or float valve is not seating and
flooding the carbs.

and clean. I didn't see any issues but now when I start the motorcycle up it
smells like fuel. I've looked around on the Internet and on the site and
I've noticed that everything points to the bike running rich. Is this in
fact the case and is there somewhere where I can be shown how to correct
this and are their any videos available?
