I didn't have fresh batteries in the camera. It handles like a dream. The adjustable windshield when up cut down on all the wind whistling on my helmet. Cruse control works wonderful. The suspension has an easy turn nob right under the seat. Power wise it is incredible. It is a NH on steroids. My only worry / learning curve seems to weight when going slow on steep grade like driveway and parking lots. I have to be aware how the bike is leaning because of the weight. The bike sits a little higher so it is a little more difficult controlling the weight when moving the bike around to get started, but also I get let my legs down when riding on the highway without hitting the ground, and lets me stretch. It has Larry highway pegs that easily flip out when moving. They are a tad high but they feel comfortable. It is defiantly not a nebee bike, it definitely requires more forethought and restraint. On the NH you can easily put a leg down when it trouble, but I doubt this bike will be as forgiving. I thought the slippage would go away when I switched to a better oil choice, but it's not really much better. Think I ruined my clutch? When I picked up the bike the seller handed me a jug of Rotella T6 and my heart sunk. The reference book says SG or higher, Pro Honda GN4 w/o molybdenum. Does the ST1300 have the same wet clutch as a NH? Does anyone know if I will run into problems with a synthetic oil in a Honda ST1300. Should I change it ASAP?
