All replaceable, fairly easily. But once you start cutting frame and
chopping and bobbing, it can't go back. Put me in the "no bobber" camp.

The 650 I'm making a summer project needs all the stuff you mentioned plus
forks. I'm going "courier" with it, cafe inspired but nothing irreversible
in case I don't like the end result. I see lots of chop/bob projects that
get finished them dumped shortly after: usually "uncomfortable" or "got
bored with it."
