Kurt, do they make usb outlets that connect directly to the battery? what I have seen so far are usb outlets that connect to the cigarette outlet which connects to the battery (this is in fact the setup I used to have on my cbr). In the cbr forum somebody wrote a how-to to install ubs connectors taken from a computer, but you need to include a resistor and something else (i think) to make it work with the battery.
