Thanks for the 100K mile survey information Allen : it seems like a rock. I was getting ready to replace all my rubber hoses on carbs (20 years old), my carb boots to air filter (one is twisted with hose clamp (??) and has possible air leakage), and air filter box ($$$ouch - some studs are missing in plastic assembly and door with slight air leakage). I want to seal my intake air system for many reasons (fuel economy, tune (esp. high rpm), ...) As well, I was going to get a new fuel petcock ($$$ouch - no reserve now) and a new clutch ($$$ouch - a lot of years and 25K miles). It will be like a new motorcycle to me. It is just too nice of a motorcycle to neglect and take a chance on.
