I agree with Allen's comments. I had a similar one (84 GL1200). They do
carry their weight very low (gas tank under the seat) which makes it easier
to handle. They are low, but pretty wide, and is true, your legs end up
trapped between the engine sticking out and the foot pegs. It took me a
while to get used to that.
