Sous, those triangle shaped screws are the pilot screws for adjusting the air 
side of the mixture at idle. Your description of their shape tells me they have 
most likely had the tabs cut off allowing them to turn away from the factory 
setting. If you aren't certain you got these back to their original position 
AND no one has messed with them (highly unlikely) you should get the carbs 
synced properly. The idle screw is the big knurl nut (black plastic hanging aft 
between the carbs). Turn that as much as you want short of unscrewing it 
completely and you can always just set it back.
