I did note Apple Personal LaserWriter NTR was there but not NT, so it does appear that 
only Postscript printers which can connect via Ethernet are supported.

I connect from my iBook via Ethernet to a router/hub which then connects also via 
Ethernet to the LW IIg. I note that on the router there is a 25 pin connector labelled 
*Printer*. Not being too clued-up about these things, I assume that I could use that 
to connect to the printer as well but .... this would only work if the correct printer 
driver(s) were available.

Catch 22, sort of.

I'll ask around my local experts to see if they have any ideas.
