There should be no problem. Just click on the message you want to open. It shouldn't matter if other message are also open.I understood that you can have multiple messages open at once. What I was talking about was when reading through a thread, e.g., there is no Next button to click to simply advance to and read the next message. You have to return to the listing of messages in the particular folder and select the next message. Another reader noted that this is not possible.
Right. AFAIK that is the only way.
I think this would be possible with a macro. But with work piled up as high as the snowdrifts outside, I'm not up to it now.No, you are not overlooking anything, as far as I know. Attachments are routed to a folder in the NE folder, where you can find them. If that is an inconvenient place, you can put an alias of that folder anywhere you like (on the desktop, for instance). That's what I figured is necessary. It would be much more convenient, IMHO, to be able to select the attachment at the bottom of the message window and select Decrypt PGP from the menu (e.g.) than to go fishing.
That's not the problem, but a corollary is that typing Japanese can trigger unintended expansions of English abbreviations. That is a new one on me. I type a lot of Japanese, and it's never invoked auto-expand.
I wonder if you are not keeping your scripts separate. If you type English using a Japanese font (i.e., typing English in Japanese script), that will certainly confuse auto-expand. I've seen that happen. Good multi-lingual practice in Nisus Writer requires that we always type in the script of the language we're entering.
Actually I've never tried using Auto Expand with Japanese. The problem is that when you type in Japanese and then switch back to English and expand an entry, the cursor remains beside the expanded entry with a space to the right, instead of the cursor being after the space as it should be (and is if you don't type any Japanese).
