I would say its one of the most useful apps out there, especially when dealing with connecting into servers over the internet. If you are working on something and for some reason the connection gets dropped... you dont lose what you were working on. not to mention the ability to detach the screen session move to a different computer and then reattach it and you are logged in like nothing changed.. although if you are extreme about security it wont cut the mustard. but have heard the latest versions are better about that.
